Morocco Camel Trekking

To cross the Sahara desert, there is no better animal than the camel. A Morocco camel trek tour will take you on an unforgettable adventure to discover the Sahara desert and spend nights in the middle of nowhere.

Riding Camels in the pure Saharan sand dunes provides the backdrop to an authentic Arabian adventure which involves a camel trek across the sand dunes to a secluded oasis, nomad Berber family where an authentic spicy Berber food is being prepared over an open fire by nomad camp.

Riding Camels in the dunes may not be the most comfortable way of traveling for some, but it is undoubtedly a 'must' for every traveler as a way to experience the mode of transportation of the nomad families in the Sahara. If your dream is to be Lawrence of Arabia for a short part of your life, this is an ideal opportunity to fulfill that dream.

We used this company for our overnight camel trek desert tour and after reading recommendations and reviews from previous travelers and it was exactly as we expected. Our Camel guide Aziz was friendly and funny, wit him we learned a lot of information about the Berber tribes, culture....etc. He helped us to learn how to play drums and dance around the campfire, I can't say enough about this great company.

The night we spent in the desert was the highlights of our trip to Morocco, the camel ride in dunes was not that comfortable, but so much fun. Our camel guide Ahmed spoke very well English, friendly and we had so much fun with him playing drums and dancing at the camp. The sunset and sunrise over the sand dunes were unforgettable, I can't wait to go back to the desert again.

I don't have any words to explain about how magical the night at the desert camp was, we walked outside the dunes and I was really surprised about all that stars and the clear sky. It was my first time camping in the desert and I highly recommend it to everyone.
