Student Code of Conduct

At Morocco Excursions, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants, staff, local communities, and partners. All students and participants are expected to conduct themselves responsibly throughout the program.

Participation in our programs requires respect for local culture, adherence to safety guidelines, and appropriate behavior toward others at all times.

Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

• Respect Moroccan customs, traditions, laws, and cultural values
• Follow all instructions provided by Morocco Excursions staff, guides, drivers, and activity leaders
• Behave respectfully toward fellow participants, staff members, local communities, and service providers
• Act in a way that promotes group safety, cooperation, and positive group dynamics
• Arrive on time for scheduled activities and respect program schedules
• Use accommodations, vehicles, and facilities responsibly
• Respect the natural environment and cultural heritage sites
• Communicate concerns or problems respectfully with staff members
• Follow all health and safety instructions during transportation, activities, and excursions

Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs or substances
• Excessive alcohol consumption that affects safety or group well-being
• Violent, aggressive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory behavior
• Bullying, intimidation, or inappropriate conduct toward others
• Theft, vandalism, or damage to property, accommodations, vehicles, or the environment
• Possession of weapons or dangerous items
• Actions that place oneself or others at risk
• Failure to follow safety instructions or staff guidance
• Disrespect toward local communities, religious sites, or cultural traditions
• Leaving the group or program activities without informing staff
• Any illegal activity under Moroccan law

Safety & Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

• Making safe and responsible personal decisions
• Informing staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or concerns that may affect participation
• Following emergency procedures when instructed
• Respecting activity limitations and safety rules

Morocco Excursions reserves the right to modify activities or restrict participation in certain activities if safety concerns arise.

Consequences of Misconduct

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action depending on the severity of the situation, including:

1. Verbal warning and discussion with staff
2. Temporary restriction from certain activities
3. Parent, guardian, school, or organization notification when applicable
4. Financial responsibility for damages caused
5. Immediate dismissal from the program without refund in serious cases

In situations involving illegal activity, violence, serious misconduct, or behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others, local authorities may also be contacted.

Our goal is to ensure that every participant enjoys a safe, respectful, educational, and meaningful experience in Morocco. By participating in a Morocco Excursions program, participants agree to follow this Code of Conduct and contribute positively to the group experience.
